I am a software developer with a strong command over languages such as JavaScript, Python, TypeScript, SQL, HTML, and CSS. I'm proficient in using a variety of tools and frameworks, including React, Flask, Django, Express, Node.js, and relational database managers like PostgreSQL and SQLite. I have hands-on experience contributing to large codebases and collaborating within Agile teams utilizing practices like daily stand-ups, sprints, and submitting PR requests.

Prior to my tech career, I spent over a decade at Trader Joe's in the Bay Area, honing my skills in team collaboration, problem-solving, and picking perfect watermelons. Beyond my professional life, I'm a food enthusiast with a boundless curiosity for learning, and I harbor a soft spot for 'terrible' TV. Looking ahead, I am committed to using my diverse skill set to tackle complex problems and make meaningful contributions to dynamic teams.

Interests

Beyond my web development pursuits, I have a keen interest in creating and repairing things. Recently, woodworking has captured my attention. Apart from this, I relish the challenge of building and fixing electronics. Not too long ago, I assembled a robot from a kit, powered by a Raspberry-Pi running Raspberry Pi OS - a project you can explore in the for fun section.

In my first career, sailing the seven seas of culinary adventure at Trader Joe's, I developed some skill in the kitchen. I enjoy cooking for myself, my wife, and our friends - there's a unique joy that comes from feeding loved ones. When I'm not cooking, coding, or otherwise working on something, I will likely be found in Golden Gate Park or playing with our two cats, Brodie and Roscoe.
